Terms & Conditions
Last updated 31 July 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern access to and use of Pulse, an internal website uptime monitoring platform operated by WebDS. By signing in you agree to them. Pulse is provided to WebDS staff and to authorized contacts at client organizations; it is not available for public registration.
2. Accounts and access
Accounts are created and assigned by an administrator. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Access may be limited to specific clients and projects, and may be changed or revoked at any time.
3. Acceptable use
- Only add websites you or your organization own or are authorized to monitor.
- Only add alert recipients who have consented to receive operational alerts.
- Do not use the platform to send marketing, promotional or unsolicited messages.
- Do not attempt to access data belonging to clients you have not been granted access to.
- Do not use monitoring features to overload, probe or attack systems you do not control.
4. Alerts and delivery
Alerts are transactional notifications about the status of monitored websites. Delivery depends on third-party email and mobile carrier networks, and we cannot guarantee that any individual message will arrive or arrive on time. Alerts supplement, and do not replace, your own operational judgement. Recipients may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
5. Availability
We aim to keep Pulse running continuously, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Maintenance, provider outages or upstream failures may interrupt monitoring or notifications.
6. Data
Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Monitoring data and reports generated for a client remain associated with that client and are made available to their authorized contacts.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, WebDS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of revenue, or loss arising from downtime that Pulse failed to detect or report.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated to account holders, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
