1. Who we are

Pulse is an internal website uptime monitoring platform operated by WebDS ("we", "us"). It is used by our own staff and by authorized contacts at client organizations whose websites we monitor. Pulse is not a consumer product and is not open to public sign-up.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, optional phone number, avatar and role, created by an administrator.
  • Monitoring data — the URLs of monitored websites, HTTP status codes, response times, SSL certificate details and incident history.
  • Alert recipient data — the name, email address and mobile number of people who should receive incident alerts, entered by an administrator.
  • Delivery logs — the content, timestamp, channel and provider delivery status of each notification we send.

We do not collect personal data from visitors to the websites we monitor, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking on this platform.

3. How we use it

Data is used solely to operate the monitoring service: to check whether a website is available, to open and track incidents, to notify the responsible people, and to produce uptime reports for the relevant client.

4. SMS and email alerts

Alerts are transactional operational messages only. We never send marketing, promotional or bulk messages. Recipients are added by an administrator after providing consent — by email, in a signed service agreement, or by requesting alerts through our support channel.

Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies with incident volume. You may reply STOP to any SMS to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. You can also email team@webds.com to be removed. Mobile numbers collected for alerting are never sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and consent is not shared with third parties.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of processors to run the platform: a cloud database and authentication provider, an email delivery provider for alert and account emails, and Twilio for SMS delivery. They process data only on our instructions and only to deliver the service.

6. Retention

Check results and delivery logs are retained for as long as they are useful for reporting and troubleshooting. Account and recipient records are removed when the person no longer requires access or alerts, or on request.

7. Security

Access to Pulse requires authentication, and permissions are enforced per role — administrators manage the full platform. Data is stored with row-level access rules and transmitted over encrypted connections.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by contacting team@webds.com. We do not sell personal data.
